“Baabul sank because of the second half,” says Salman Khan

The world knows that Salman Khan recently posed with husband of ex-flame Sangeeta Bijlani Mohammad Azharuddin. During the same visit a fan asked him as to what he had to say about both his big films of 2006, ‘Jaaneman’ and ‘Baabul’ didn’t set the cash registers jingling. “I agree ‘Jaaneman’ was my film and it bombed, but ‘Baabul’ sank because of the second half,” he quipped tongue-in-cheek.

As is well known, Salman dies at the end of the first half and John Abraham takes over the proceedings (somewhat) in the second half. The critics and the audience alike loved Salman in the film. Obviously Khan is leaving no chance to take a jibe at Abraham with whom he has had a fall-out last year during stage shows abroad.
